Mayor Wilson called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:00 p.m. Members present: Alexander, Robeck, Schrupp, Neid and Lemke. Also present: City Administrator Mark Larson, City Attorney Mark Ostlund, Finance Director Trippel, Public Works Director Voigt, Police Captain Padilla and Fire Chief Scheidt.
Motion to approve the consent agenda as presented entered by Councilor Neid with second by Councilor Lemke. All members voted in favor.

Leaf patrol

Glencoe Public Works staff recently began collecting leaves from streets throughout the city. The city’s vacuum trailer makes short work of large piles of leaves residents can leave curbside. Removing the leaves from the street is a popular service with property owners and keeps the city’s storm water drainage pipes from clogging during heavy rainfalls. Weather permitting, the leaf vacuum will be on the street until Nov. 22.

October is National Farm to School Month. After-school program aims to have ‘Girls on the Run’ to healthier future
