Other than 15 minutes Saturday, the sun shined on Glencoe

While the financial side of Glencoe Days won’t be finalized for months, the initial reviews of the community event seems to be positive.
With the exception of a shower Saturday lasting 15 minutes or so, the sun shined in Glencoe Days, figuratively if not literally. “It went good, very good,” said Jon VanDamme, chairperson of the 12-person organizing committee. “Everybody who said it rained at least had a smile on their face.”

Brewers fall to Brownton, Green Isle in tough week

The Glencoe Brewers know they need more offense than four hits to top good teams. Friday night, June 24, the Brewers were reminded of that lesson in a 3-1 setback against Brownton.
