Connie K. Maguire, 72, of Glencoe, the wife of Larry Maguire, passed away Tuesday, May 7, at Glencoe Regional Health Services in Glencoe.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 13, 2 p.m., at Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hutchinson with interment in Oakland Cemetery in Hutchinson.
Visitation will be held Monday, May 13, noon to 2 p.m., two hours prior to the service, at the Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel.
The Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements. Its website is www.hantge.com where online obituaries and a guestbook is available.

Plato American Legion honors Korean War vets

Members of the Plato American Legion Post 641 recently honored Korean War era veterans at the post's military recognition dinner. Veterans attended the recognition dinner included (from left) Howard Stockmann, Orville Schrupp, Orlin Graupmann and Howard Schuette. Korean War era veterans unable to attend the recognition dinner included Vernon Debner, Melvin Dose, Edwin Dummer, Wilbert Renken and LeRoy VonBerge.

Kort Meyer (left) of Green Isle was one of 49 people who dropped off used needles Thursday, May 2, at Glencoe Regional Health Services hospital. Almost 10 boxes were filled with needles in secure plastic containers. Glencoe Police Chief Jim Raiter (right) was one of several volunteers who helped staff the successful inaugural event. A second drop-off session is planned for the fall in Hutchinson.
