George Michael O’Donnell, 87, of Glencoe, passed away Friday, Jan. 25, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, Feb. 1, 10:30 a.m., at Church of St. Pius X in Glencoe with interment in the Glencoe Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 31, 4 to 8 p.m., at the Johnson-McBride Funeral Chapel in Glencoe. A prayer service will be at 6 p.m. Thursday. Visitation will continue from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the church Friday.

Richard C. Kosek, 83, of Silver Lake passed away Wednesday, Jan. 23, at Glencoe Regional Health Services after a lengthy illness.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Richard Kosek will be held Tuesday, Jan. 29, 10:30 a.m., at Holy Family Catholic Church in Silver Lake. The Rev. Tony Stubeda will be the celebrant. Interment will be at Holy Family Cemetery.
A visitation will be held Monday, Jan. 28, 4 to 8 p.m., at The Maresh Funeral Home in Silver Lake. A prayer service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Further visitation will be held Tuesday morning, Jan. 29, at the funeral home from 8 to 10 a.m.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 26, 11 a.m., at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Auburn, with interment following at High Island Cemetery in New Auburn.
Visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 25, 4 to 7 p.m., at Johnson-McBride Funeral Chapel in Glencoe, and will continue one hour prior the service Saturday.

The Glencoe-Silver Lake girls’ basketball team played a gritty contest at Rockford Friday, Jan. 11, despite losing top scorer Miah Monahan to injury early in the first half. Fellow guard Teagan Hansch and others played key roles in the narrow loss.
