‘Muslims Need Jesus’

First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Glencoe and the Lutheran Missionary Women’s League (LWML) McLeod Zone will host “Muslims Need Jesus, a mission event, on Saturday, April 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Among topics to be discussed are the difference between Christianity and Islam, do both religions have the same God, what the church is doing to reach out to Muslims, dating and intermarriage between Christians and Muslims, and more. Speakers will include a missionary who witnesses in the Twin Cities Muslim field, and the Rev. Peter Adelsen, assistant pastor at First Evangelical Lutheran Church. Registration starts at 8 a.m. The cost includes a light breakfast and lunch. All community members are invited and welcome to attend. Information is for high school age through adults. Reservations made to 320-864-5522 are appreciated; however, onsite registration also is encouraged.
