The concerts feature an array of sacred, traditional, spiritual and contemporary Christmas music. A cookie reception will follow! A free-will donation is appreciated.
The Singing Friends Chorus is under the direction of Karen de Boer and accompanied by Carrie Knott.
Karen chooses a mixture of well-known and unfamiliar works for each concert, in order to both build the choir's musicianship, and showcase a cross-section of music for audiences.
"Every piece has its place, whether to refine the ensemble's blend, showcase a particular section of the choir, or simply to expose the chorus and audience to a beautiful work of art they might otherwise never know." The choir is over 25 voices strong from surrounding communities.
