PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The project consists of multiple work scopes for all the work necessary for the 95,502 SF Renovation of the Park Elementary School. Project includes demolition and renovations of the existing facility as well as a 760 sf stair tower Addition, Bus Parking, and all associated site work, utilities and amenities. This bid package consists of multiple work scopes including Earthwork, Concrete& Masonry, Steel (Matl.), Steel (Erect), Gypsum assemblies, General Construction, Doors & Hardware (Matl.), Casework, Roofing, Aluminum Doors & Windows, Tile, Resilient & Carpet Flooring, ACT, Painting, Food Service Equip, Fire Suppression, Mechanical, & Electrical. The project is planned to begin January 2022 and be substantially complete August 26, 2022. Please refer to the milestone schedule provided in the bid documents.

BID DATE AND LOCATION:
Sealed bids will be received at Hutchinson Public Schools – ISD 423 District Office: 30 Glen Street Northwest Hutchinson, MN 55350 Bids will be received and stamped-in prior to 2:00 PM local time on October 28, 2021. Bids will be opened and read aloud at a separate location. The bid opening is open to public via live recording. A link to the opening will be provided at a later date.

EXAMINATION OF
DOCUMENTS:
Bidders may view drawings and specifications for the project at the office of the Construction Manager.

For Electronic access to the bidding documents, please contact the Construction Manager at (320) 339-7500. The Construction Manager can also provide locations of Builders Exchange’s holding plans for contractors to access. Bidders are responsible for any and all costs associated with the production of plans and specifications for their use.

PRE-BID CONFERENCE:
A pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday October 20, 2021 at the Hutchinson Park Elementary School 100 Glen Street SW Hutchinson, MN 55350. If bidders want to review the physical site, a site review will take place immediately following the pre-bid conference. No extras will be allowed because of the bidder's misinterpretation to the amount of work involved, bidder's own error, negligence, or failure to examine the site.

QUESTIONS
All questions during bidding shall be submitted via email to Collin Rehbein collin.rehbein@ics-builds.com by 10:00am local time October 26, 2021.

START DATE:
Work will begin after receipt of the signed contract from the Owner. The anticipated award date is October 9th, 2021. Pre-construction and submittal work related to the project is to commence immediately after receipt of the signed contract. The onsite work will begin on the premises no later than January 3rd, 2022

SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION DATE
Owner requires different work scopes to be substantially complete in different areas throughout the site on or before milestone dates as listed in Summary of Work, Section 01 0100. Bids shall reflect all costs necessary to meet this schedule requirement. Entire project is scheduled to be substantially complete by August 26th, 2022.
