Alexandré Dale Asche, 37, of Chaska

Alexandré (Alex) Dale Asche was born March 24, 1981, in São Paulo, Brazil. Mr. Asche was baptized at Bethany Reformed Church in Clara City, Minn., Nov. 11, 1984, and was officially adopted by his parents, Dale and Janet Asche, April 30, 1985. Alex professed his faith at Bethany Reformed Church on Feb. 6, 2000.
As the oldest child, Mr. Asche was a big help on his family farm with the beef cow and calf herd. He also assisted with bringing his younger brother and sister to activities at church and school… and with aggravating them with his brotherly love. Mr. Asche was active in choir, theater, and art at MACCRAY public school, and in the One Accord Choir at Bethany Reformed Church in Clara City, Minn. After graduating with the MACCRAY High School Class of 2000, he furthered his education at Alexandria Technical and Community College in Alexandria where he obtained a degree as a Computer Hardware Technician in 2003. Mr. Asche worked in computer technology support positions at various companies in the Twin Cities. Later, he went on to attend Normandale Community College in Bloomington where he obtained his associate of arts degree in 2013. Mr. Asche also completed coursework in the area of psychology at Bemidji State University in Bemidji and in the areas of psychology and photography at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities in Minneapolis.
Mr. Asche was married to the love of his life, Rebecca (Becky) Mae Litzau, of Glencoe at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Helen Township June 22, 2013. They resided in Chaska and enjoyed five years of marriage. The secret to their matrimonial bliss was that he was happiest when Becky was telling him to behave himself, and she was happy to do it over and over again.
In 2014, Mr. Asche began his dream of owning his own photography business, Elbee & Hobbes Photography. His natural talent as a creative photographic artist flourished. His work always captured the personality of the subject and is loved and cherished in many homes around the Midwest. He leaves a truly beautiful legacy behind through his work.
Other than his passion for creating artistic photography, Mr. Asche enjoyed eating out, video gaming, movies, music concerts, and hanging out with his nieces and nephews. He had a special joy for his cats (Elbee, Otis and Charlie) and for his beloved Goldendoodle, Gilly. He will be missed for his quick wit and sarcastic sense of humor - which rarely got him into trouble because of his unbelievable charm.
Mr. Asche passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at the University of Minnesota Hospital from complications of his almost two-year battle with colon cancer at the age of 37 years. He was surrounded by family who held his hand and helped him find his way Home.
Mr. Asche is survived by his wife, Rebecca (Becky) Litzau of Chaska; parents, Dale and Janet Asche of Willmar; sister, Kimberly Asche of Minnetonka; brother, Andrew Asche and his wife Sally McGill of Raymond, Minn.; father-in-law, Larry Litzau of Glencoe; sister-in-law, Jennifer Koenen and her husband Chad of Hutchinson; brother-in-law, Brian Litzau and his wife Laurie of Glencoe; nieces, Paige Litzau, Miranda Litzau, and Ava Koenen; nephews, Nathan Litzau, Owen Koenen, and Drew Hutchens; and many other relatives and friends.
