Allen Herbert Templin, 66, of Glencoe, passed away Monday, March 25, at his home in Glencoe.
A funeral service was held Friday, March 29, 11:00 a.m., at Johnson-McBride Funeral Chapel in Glencoe.
Pastor Daniel Welch was the officiating clergy.
Allen Herbert Templin was born June 15, 1952, in Glencoe. He is the son of Herbert and Marcella (Boelter) Templin. Mr. Templin was baptized as an infant and later was confirmed in his faith as an adult December 14, 1975. He received his education in Glencoe, and graduated with the Glencoe High School Class of 1971.
Mr. Templin made his home in Glencoe. His life was blessed with five children, Jeremy, Josette, Nicholas, Cassandra, and Carissa.
Mr. Templin worked for many years at Anchor Glass in Shakopee, until he retired four years ago. He was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Glencoe. He enjoyed fishing, farming, bar hopping, gardening and had started his own small orchard of fruit trees. He also loved taking trips to tropical locations with his daughters, Carissa and Cassandra. Mr. Templin cherished the time spent with his family and friends.
Mr. Templin passed away Monday, March 25, at his home in Glencoe, Minnesota, at the age of 66 years, 9 months and 10 days. Blessed be his memory.
He is survived by his children, Jeremy Templin of Glencoe, Josette Sprague and her husband, Dean, of Belle Plaine, Nicholas Templin and his wife, Kathryn, of Brownton, Cassandra Larson and her husband, Anthony, of Savage, Carissa St. Martin and her husband, Christopher, of Belle Plaine; grandchildren, Devon, Derek, Jordan, Mckensie, Emily, David, Daniel, Mitchell, Zachary, and Tyler; siblings, Dale Templin, Larry Templin, Gary Templin, Jeanette Templin, Gretchen Templin, Sheila DeLaney, and Amy Alpaugh; nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Mr. Templin is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Marcella Templin.
