Blue Jays take two wins
The Plato Blue Jays upped their record to 6-1 overall with a pair of wins last week.
Plato, which had taken a nine-day hiatus from the basepaths, returned to action with a 12-7 win at Cologne on Friday, June 15.
Starting pitcher Adam Prehn earned his third win of the season after allowing one earned run and striking out five in five innings of work.
Matt Odegaard hit two home runs, drove in six runs and scored three times to spearhead the Blue Jay offense. Tyler Lang also hit a homer, drove in dive runs and scored once.
Plato returned home two days later for a Father’s Day win over Young America.
The Blue Jays rallied from an early deficit and secured a 4-2 win with a three-run eighth inning.
Chris Odegaard pitched a complete game victory, striking out seven.
Ryan Moriarty scored twice, with four different players each posting an RBI.
