Brownton council chooses building inspector for 2021
Brownton has been experiencing problems and miscommunication with its building permits for years.
The city council decided to open the building inspector position a couple months ago and the council landed on a decision at its meeting last Tuesday, Oct. 6. Brownton will be staying with its current building inspector, Darin Haslip.
The council was originally going to set up a meeting to discuss Haslip’s contract with him, but they decided to renew his contract since communication has increased between both parties.
