City nixes request for chicken coops
There’s a problem with stray cats roaming the streets, alleyways and yards of Brownton.
It’s a significant-enough problem for the council to direct at its June 7 meeting the use of live traps to roundup the animals. And when an owner can’t be located, the cats can be donated to area residents looking for cats to curb the mouse population outside the city.
