City council mulls proposal for water plan update

With an eye to be ready for anticipated growth, the city is planning an update of its water plan to make sure the city’s water system is ready to serve more customers.
The city council heard a proposal from its contract engineer, Short Elliott Hendrickson (SEH) Monday, Jan. 10, to conduct the study. The three-phase study would be conducted in conjunction with the completion of updating information for the GIS system.
