City Council will consider comp. plan proposal

If the Glencoe City Council decides to move ahead with the creation of a comprehensive plan, it will focus on land use and a community vision for Glencoe as it continues to grow in the years to come.
Last Wednesday, Nov. 6, the Glencoe Planning Commission voted unanimously to recommend the city council OK a proposal to have SEH, the city’s engineering firm, work on a comprehensive plan in a coordinated fashion with city staff on land uses in Glencoe and the community vision for its future. The proposal is expected to cost as much as $40,000.
The city council is expected to address the proposal at its Nov. 18 meeting.
