Clarence Carl Patzold, 90, of Glencoe

Clarence Carl Patzold, 90, of Glencoe, died Monday, Sept. 4, 2017, at Glencoe Regional Health Services Long Term Care in Glencoe.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Clarence Carl Patzold was born Nov. 27, 1926, in Stewart, the son of Max and Mary Patzold. He received his education in Stewart. He entered active military service in the U.S. Army on March 26, 1951, and served his country during the Korean Conflict. He received an honorable discharge on July 28, 1951.
On May 18, 1973, he was united in marriage to Alice June Anderson in South Dakota. The couple made their home in Lester Prairie, and shared over 44 years of marriage.
Mr. Patzold loved to farm and farmed many years with his niece near Lester Prairie. He enjoyed playing cards and watching sports, especially the Minnesota Twins. He and his wife enjoyed traveling and spent some winters in Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Patzold of Glencoe; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Mary Patzold; and brothers, Ed Patzold and Irvin Patzold.
