Community Strings to perform Dec. 17
Community Strings is excited to present its Christmas show, titled “A Red, White, and Blue Christmas,” at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Glencoe on Sunday, Dec. 17, with shows taking place at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Community Strings has been entertaining audiences for the past 12 years. Created as a family musical group by Melissa Pinske and her father Jack Noennig, the group expanded to include musicians from surrounding communities. Currently, there are members from Arlington, Cokato, Glencoe, Hutchinson, Norwood, Plato and Young America.
Performances offer a wide range of music from classical to country, popular to jazz.
For “A Red, White, and Blue Christmas,” the Community Strings is comprised of approximately 30 men, women and children between 10 and 80 years of age.
