Connie K. Maguire, 72, of Glencoe, passed away Tuesday, May 7, at Glencoe Regional Health Services.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 13, 2 p.m., with interment in Oakland Cemetery in Hutchinson.
Evangelist Wanda King was the officiating clergy.
“I Found the Lily in my Valley” - Brian Haney, “I Want to Stroll Over Heaven with you” - Alan Jackson, and “Nothing but Praise” - Brian Haney was the special music.
Larry King, Steve Joles, Chad Joles, Dale Joles, Nathan Maguire and Dylan Maguire were the casket-bearers.
Connie K. Maguire was born Jan. 16, 1947, in Seminole, Okla. She was the daughter of Orville and Berniece (Townsend) King. She received her education in Lebanon, Mo. and was a graduate of the Lebanon Senior High School Class of 1965.
Connie was united in marriage to Larry Maguire in St. Charles, Mo. Dec. 23, 1966. This marriage was blessed with three children, Tonya, Neil, and Audrea. Connie and Larry resided in Glencoe for many years. They shared 52 years of marriage.
In addition to being a loving mother and wife, Mrs. Maguire was a homemaker. She was a member of Riverside Assembly of God Church in Hutchinson, where she was a women’s ministry leader and missionettes leader.
Mrs. Maguire enjoyed tending to her vegetable and flower gardens. She cherished her time spent with her grandchildren, family, and friends.
Mrs. Maguire passed away Tuesday, May 7, at Glencoe Regional Health Services at the age of 72 years. Blessed be her memory.
Mrs. Maguire is survived by her husband, Larry Maguire of Glencoe; children, Tonya Weston and her husband, Ted, of St. Francis, Neil Maguire and his wife, Julie, of Bloomington, Audrea Maguire of Hutchinson; siblings, Calvin King and his wife, Ann, of Houston, Texas; Larry King and his wife, Wanda, of Wisconsin Dells, Wis., Linda Hatlestad of Mineral Wells, Texas; nieces, nephews, many other relatives, and friends.
Mrs. Maguire is preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Berniece King; brother, Timothy King.
