County board tables decision on cannabis ordinance
The legalization of cannabis products
in Minnesota last summer has
left governmental agencies trying to
figure out how to regulate the use.
While selling cannabis will not be
legal in the state until 2025, personal
use and growing is legal.
The McLeod County officials have
been working on an ordinance regulating
the use of cannabis and the
products derived from it in public
places and places of public accommodation.
After a number of workshops with
commissioners and other stake holders,
the board held a public hearing
regarding the proposed ordinance.
