A finale foiled – Chargers top GSL in section third-place game
While they were grateful to play seven football games this fall, Friday’s final against Dassel-Cokato was anything but the way the Panthers wanted to end their season.
Too many things went the wrong way as D-C thumped Glencoe-Silver Lake, 35-7, in the section third place game Nov. 20 at Stevens Seminary Stadium. It was a game the Panthers didn’t expect to play. They finished the season at 3-4 overall, 2-3 against teams in the Wright County Conference.
