Former Brownton police officer gets jail time, probation
A former Brownton police officer will spend 60 days in jail and serve two years on probation as part of his sentence for electronically soliciting a child to engage in sexual contact.
McLeod County District Court Judge Jody Winters sentenced Jacob Lee Binnebose to jail time and probation Tuesday morning, Oct. 29, in McLeod County District Court. The terms of the probation include no contact with the victim or girls not in his family, completion of a psycho-sexual evaluation and compliance with recommendation from the evaluation. He may not have possession of alcohol or narcotics other than prescribed medication.
