Glencoe Music in the Park

The Glencoe Lions Club Music in the Park series begins Wednesday, June 28, at Oak Leaf Park, Glencoe, in Shelter 2, featuring Carver Creek. This family group of five siblings, sponsored by Larry Anderson State Farm Insurance, offers instrumental and vocal bluegrass, gospel, Irish, old-time, new-time, with a smattering of early country and other favorites. A meal of a shredded beef sandwich, chips, pickles, dessert and beverage will be available from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. with the free performance from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Bring a lawn chair. Proceeds will go toward community projects. Bring your used eyeglasses and hearing aids. Call 320-864-5237 with any questions.
