Glencoe Planning Commission wants to move ahead with comp. plan
As it hopes to move forward with the creation of a comprehensive plan that will guide the city’s growth and possible redevelopment, the Glencoe Planning Commission is recommending the city council enter a contract for study on the scope of the overall report and possible regulations governing land uses in the city.
The commission voted 4-0 Thursday evening, Oct. 10, to recommend the city council vote to begin negotiating a contract with its contract engineering firm, SEH Inc. and its consultant, Community Design Group (CDG) of St. Paul, to begin a process that includes public engagement and review. The council is expected to address the commission’s recommendation Monday evening, Oct. 21.
