GSL School District hosting free daily summer, breakfast, lunch program
The Glencoe-Silver Lake School District is participating in the summer food service program and invites children to have a free meal.
Meals will be provided to all children, birth to age 18, without charge. The meals meet nutritional standards established by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).
Breakfast and lunch are available at GSL Public School, 1621 16th St. E., Monday through Thursday, June 17-July 25. The service is closed July 4. Lunch only will be served at Lakeside Elementary School in Silver Lake, 229 Lake Ave., June 17 to July 25.
Breakfast is served 7:30 to 8 a.m. and lunch is served 11 a.m. to noon.
