GSL splits two, Monahan leads charge with 45 points
The GSL girls’ hoops team split its last two games, losing against New London-Spicer, Tuesday, Jan. 28, and thumping Annandale Friday, Jan. 31.

Although the girls didn’t come out of the New London-Spicer game with a win, they still battled, making changes that helped stop the bleeding in the second half where NLS scored 15 points fewer points than it did in the first half. Head Coach Jeff Monahan has said before that NLS is an elite team in the conference and deserve respect.
Miah Monahan scored 23 points in the game, Brook Christianson had 10, Mylea Monahan had 4, Malayh Metcalf had 4, Holly Bandemer had 2, Teagan Hansch had 2, Hannah Graf had 2, Audrey Peterson had 2. and Ashley Radke had 1.
