GSL boys diving into WCC competition against top teams
After a pair of tough losses earlier this month, the GSL boys’ basketball team restored its winning ways, building confidence heading into the conference meat grinder where they will face what is expected to be tougher competition.
The Panthers will face the two teams above them in the WCC standings before the end of January. GSL took a 10-3 overall record into last night’s game. After dropping games to Hutchinson and Southwest Christian, the Panthers have rolled off wins over Eden Valley-Watkins, Dassel-Cokato. Inclement weather Friday, Jan. 14, pushed the game against Watertown-Mayer to Feb. 3.
