GSL gymnastics falls short in first meet against Delano
Panthers’ gymnastics jumped into its first meet of the season at Delano Friday, Jan. 29, and while GSL hung in there for each event, the Panthers fell short.
The Delano Tigers beat Glencoe-Silver Lake, 133.2 to 119.95, at the dual meet. Head Coach Kim Hahn didn’t have her eyes on the scores though. She wanted this meet to help the girls get comfortable with performing at meets.
“I was just expecting the first meet to just get the first-meet jitters out of the way,” Hahn said. “Performing new routines with new skills for the season can be nerve wracking on everyone.”
