SCHOOL BOARD MEETING
INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT #2859
PLACE: GSL Schools Community Room #443/444
DATE: December 9, 2019
TIME: 7:00 p.m.

Board Chairman Alsleben called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. The following board members were present: Alsleben, Kuester, Lindeman, Lemke, and Luckhardt. Director VonBerge was absent.

The Board approved the consent agenda. Transfers: Mae Hansch transferring from ECSE paraprofessional to School Readiness Preschool Paraprofessional, Leave Requests; Jessica Boe FMLA until January, Trisha Fenske FMLA May 2020.

The Board approved the following: set the final 2019 levy payable 2020at $4,314,457.08, to amend the resolution from November 25th and to authorize Superintendent Christopher Sonju and Business Manager Michelle Sander as Responsible Authorities to enter in Contractual Agreements.
Board adopted the following policies: 410, 413, 416, 513, 518, 523, 526, 623, 720.

The Board will bring back the following policies for adoption at the next School Board meeting; 419, 507, 508, 512, 532, 603, 613, 620, 910.

The following donations were accepted with appreciation; GFWC of Silver Lake $200.00 Lakeside Library, Knights of Columbus Silver Lake $50.00 Close Up, Brownton Lions $500.00 JH Stem Trip, Glencoe Rotary $1000.00 JH Stem Trip, Silver Lake Legion Post 141 $1000.00 Close Up, Silver Lake Lions $250.00 Close Up.

Meeting was adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
