GSL trapshooters keep on firing

With only one week remaining, the Glencoe-Silver Lake trapshooting team is in sixth place in the Class 3A Conference 3 standings after the latest two weeks of competition at the Winthrop Game Protective League. Alden-Conger High School currently holds the top spot.
Top GSL trap shooters in Week 3 were: Katrina Dummer scoring 43 out of 50, Mia LaPlante scoring a 41, and Ethan Bernstein, Brayden Goebel and Haley Kirchoff all hitting 40 of their 50 targets.
Top GSL trap shooters for Week 4 were: Brayden Goebel and Adam Schauer both scoring 46 out of 50, and Jonathan Bolland, Katie Collins, Michael Elgren and Courtney Richer all scoring 41.
In the female division, GSL has several trap shooters in the top 25 in the conference. Mia LaPlante is ranked sixth with an average of 19.75.
Katie Collins is ranked 10th with an average of 18.88. Katrina Dummer is in 11th with 18.25, Courtney Richer is 15th with 17.00, Norique Stuewe 17th with 15.63, Lauren Bernstein 20th with 15.38, Haley Kirchoff 21st with 15.00, Kaitlyn Grack is 23rd with 13.88 and Emma Gepson is 25th with 12.75.
For skeet, the Panthers are in third place in the Class 1A Conference 2 standings. Roseau High School is in first place and Lakeville South in second.
Week 3’s top skeet shooters were: Katie Collins with a 44 out of 50, Jonathan Bolland 42, Mia LaPlante 40 and Brayden Goebel and Jacob VanDorpe both scoring 38.
Top skeet shooters for Week 4 were: Katie Collins 46, Jonathan Bolland 43 and Mia LaPlante and Jacob VanDorpe both scoring 39.
In the male division, Jonathan Bolland is currently ranked 10th in the conference for skeet with a 20.5 average.
In the female division, Katie Collins is currently ranked first in the conference and is ranked first in the state with a 22.88 average.
Mia LaPlante is currently third in the conference and 10th in the state with a 20.0 average.
