Gymnasts compete at Delano Tri

The Glencoe-Silver Lake gymnastics team scored a 120.9 to take third at the Delano Triangular on Tuesday, Jan. 15.
Gia Venier placed sixth in the individual all-around with a score of 31.375. She placed second in floor exercise with an 8.85 and was fourth on balance beam at 7.8.
Gia Venier was sixth in the all-around at 31.375, placing eighth on vault with an 8.425.
Makayla Wigern placed seventh in the all-around with a 28.6, while Jenna Trippel was eighth with a 27.75.
The Panthers junior varsity also placed third in its competition with a score of 89.85. Cadance Knick was second in the all-around with a score of 23.95.
GSL travels to Waconia for a dual meet on Thursday.
