Jail project under way

Construction workers began removing the exterior walls in the southeast corner of the McLeod County Law Enforcement Center in Glencoe to make way for the jail expansion project. Work also has begun in the interior of the courthouse lobby area, and the southeast entrance to the courthouse from 10th Street is now closed to the public. Entrance must be made on the north side of the courthouse facing 11th Street.
