Locals named to dean’s list

The dean’s lists for the 2017 spring semester at Minnesota State University – Mankato have been announced. From Glencoe, students include Carly Bening, senior, high honor list, alcohol and drug studies; Rachel Bonderman, sophomore, high honor list, art; Michelle Dennison, junior, honor list, dental hygiene; Kristina Kunkel, senior, high honor list, dental hygiene; Patrick Kunkel, junior, honor list, construction management; and Ashley Schaefer, senior, honor list, communication disorders; John Seipel, senior, high honor list, elementary education. Named from Brownton is Mackenzie Mrkvicka, senior, honor list, elementary education; Erika Mielke, sophomore, high honor list, nursing; and Emily Muetzel, sophomore, high honor list, exercise science. Students qualify for the high honor list by achieving a 4.0 straight “A” average; students qualify for the honor list by earning a 3.5-3.9. To qualify for academic honors, undergraduate students must be enrolled for at least 12 credit hours for the semester.
