McLeod County to give employees options: Vaccinate or test and mask
McLeod County, like other employers with 100-plus employees, is working to ensure it is moving towards compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) regarding mandatory COVID vaccinations or weekly COVID tests and the requirement to wear a face covering in the workplace.
The county will not mandate employees to be vaccinated. Employees who choose not to be vaccinated or disclose their vaccination status will need to test for COVID-19 once every seven days, with a negative result, and wear face covering indoors when with others.
