Board of Appeals and Equalization Meeting Minutes
06/24/19
Commissioners Nagel, Pohlmeier, Krueger, Shimanski and Wright were present. Assessor Sue Schulz, County Attorney Michael Junge, Interim County Administrator Sheila Murphy and Administrative Assistant Liz Danielson were also present. Auditor-Treasurer Connie Kurtzweg had an excused absence due to conducting county business at another location.
Wright moved and Pohlmeier seconded to reclassify parcel 14.078.0010 from Commercial/Residential to Residential and approve the Assessor’s recommendation to reduce the valuation from $156,300.00 to $134,600.00 for the year payable 2020. Shimanski moved, Krueger seconded and motion carried unanimously to amend the motion to reduce the valuation from $156,300.00 to $120,000.00. The Board Chair called for a vote on the motion as amended, and the motion carried unanimously to reclassify parcel 14.078.0010 from Commercial/Residential to Residential and to reduce the valuation from $156,300.00 to $120,000.00 for the year payable 2020.
Nagel moved, Wright seconded and motion carried unanimously to approve the Assessor’s recommendation to reclassify parcel 23.050.1870 from Commercial to a split classification of 25 percent Commercial and 75 percent Personal.
Shimanski moved, Pohlmeier seconded and motion carried unanimously to adjourn the Board of Appeals and Equalization meeting at 5:02 p.m.
