Commissioners Nagel, Pohlmeier, Krueger, Shimanski and Wright were present.
Pohlmeier moved, Shimanski seconded and motion carried unanimously to approve the agenda.
Krueger moved, Shimanski seconded and motion carried unanimously to approve the Consent Agenda. Consent Agenda items included: (a) January 07, 2020 County Board Meeting Minutes; (b) January 03, 2020 Auditor’s Warrants; (c) January 10, 2020 Auditor’s Warrants.
Shimanski moved, Krueger seconded and motion carried unanimously to approve the payment of the bills in the amount of $172,335.21.
Wright moved, Pohlmeier seconded and motion carried unanimously to approve the tax court settlement offer for Best Buy 23.486.0010 to reduce the valuation for Payable Years 2018 and 2019 from $1,415,100.00 to $1,248,500.00.
Shimanski moved, Krueger seconded and motion carried unanimously to approve the tax court settlement offer for Mahogany Bay 17.050.1820 to reduce the value for Payable Year 2019 from $269,500.00 to $230,300.00.
Shimanski moved, Krueger seconded and motion carried unanimously to approve the agreement between BWI (Business Watch International) and McLeod County for the Regional Property Information Database (RAPID) system for five (5) years at a yearly cost of $1,000.00 and a total cost of $5,000.00.
Krueger moved, Pohlmeier seconded and motion carried unanimously to adopt Resolution 20-CB-01.
Shimanski moved, Krueger seconded and motion carried unanimously to appoint Joe Jacobs to the viewing team to redetermine benefits and damages on County Ditch 08 and appoint John Dotolo to be an alternate viewer on County Ditch 08.
Shimanski moved, Krueger seconded and motion carried unanimously to appoint Joe Jacobs to the viewing team to redetermine benefits and damages on County Ditch 10 and appoint John Dotolo to be an alternate viewer on County Ditch 10.
Shimanski moved, Krueger seconded and motion carried unanimously to appoint Joe Jacobs to the viewing team to redetermine benefits and damages on County Ditch 35 and appoint John Dotolo to be an alternate viewer on County Ditch 35.
Shimanski moved, Krueger seconded and motion carried unanimously to appoint Joe Jacobs to the viewing team to redetermine benefits and damages on County Ditch 36 and appoint John Dotolo to be an alternate viewer on County Ditch 36.
Shimanski moved, Krueger seconded and motion carried unanimously to appoint Joe Jacobs to the viewing team to redetermine benefits and damages on County Ditch 37 and appoint John Dotolo to be an alternate viewer on County Ditch 37.
Krueger moved, Wright seconded and motion carried unanimously to adopt Resolution 20-CB-12.
Shimanski moved, Pohlmeier seconded and motion carried unanimously to recess at 9:28 a.m. until the next County Board Meeting on February 04, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. at the Glencoe City Center Ballroom, 1107 11th Street East, Glencoe, Minnesota.
