NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

YOU ARE HEREBY notified that the regular meeting of the McLeod County Planning Advisory Commission has been scheduled on Wednesday the 22 nd day of September 2021, 9:30 a.m., at McLeod County Environmental Services, Large Conf Room at 1065 5 th Ave SE, Hutchinson, Mi nnesota 55350.
THE PURPOSE OF THE SAID MEETING is to consider the following applications located in the County of McLeod and filed with the Director of Environmental Services. All requests are subject to modification during the hearing process.
1) A REZONING request by David Hansen on property owned by Schroeder Oil Distributing LLC to rezone from “A” Agriculture to Highway Business for the proposed operation of storage units to be located: 7.7 AC OF N ½ SW ¼ (TH
#15 - 1.63 AC) (TH #212 - .47AC) of
Sect-31, Twp-115, Range-029 (Sumter).
2) A REZONING request by Rivers
Edge Concrete on property owned
by Great River West Trust to rezone
from “A” Agriculture to “I-1” Industrial for the construction and operation of a ready-mix concrete plant and to
be located the N 10 AC W 20 AC of Sect-31, Twp-115, Range 029 (Sumter).
3) A PRELIMINARY PLAT request by Alan & Patricia Fleischacker for a 1-Lot Preliminary Plat to create (1) additional buildable north of their existing building site, to be located (3.45 AC) - The S 869.00 feet of the N 1286.41 feet of the E 417.41 feet to the SE ¼ NE ¼ of Sect-16, Twp-117, Range 27 (Winsted).
4) A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT by Cindy Novak Ardolf to amend original Conditional Use Permit 19- 09, a Kennel permit “Back Forty Kennel” for up to (14) dogs with 9-single 3’ X 5’ kennels, in order to add (12) additional kennels and an indoor play area, located within 40.00 AC SW ¼ SE ¼ of Sect-12, Twp-116, Range-028 (Rich Valley).
5) A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
by Don Engelman/Tim Engelman to
change the use from “A” Agriculture
accessory use to a non-agriculture primary use for the purpose of indoor storage of boats, campers, all-terrain vehicles, snowmobiles, and so forth, and to be located within a 76.20 AC parcel in the SE ¼ SE ¼ of Sect-2, Twp-115, Range- 027 (Helen).
6) A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
by Dean & Stephanie Loncorich to construct an accessory structure to
be > than 2,400 sq. ft. on a parcel

7) A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
by Sheldon Mathews on property owned by Jon & Megan Amaral to construct an accessory structure in
the from yard area due to low ground and secondary sewer site areas and to be located in 3.75 AC, DIAMOND POND Lot-001 Block- 001, Sect-8, Twp-115, Range 27 (Helen).
8) A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
filed by Impact Power Solutions (IPS) for a period of (35) years on behalf of MN CSG 2019-19 LLC for the Essential Services of a 1MW AC Photovoltaic Community Solar Garden (Solar Farm) and Agrivoltaic (growing & harvesting plants) under the panels on approximately 8.00 AC of 11.21 AC in total on property owned by Thomas Horstmann and to be located within 33.00 AC of NE ¼ NE ¼, Sect-16, Twp-117, Range- 027 (Winsted). THESE HEARINGS will be held by the McLeod County Planning
Commission at which time you may appear if you desire, either in person or by agent or attorney, in opposition to or in support of the proposed application. The County Planning Advisory Commission shall forward its recommendations on to the McLeod County Board of Commissioners. If you desire to provide comments or objections to
the County Planning Advisory Commission’s recommendations, you may take your request to the County Board which has the final authority to act on the findings of the Planning Commission.
