NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

YOU ARE HEREBY notified that the regular meeting of the McLeod County Planning Advisory Commission has been scheduled on Wednesday, the 13th day of May 2020 at 9:30 A.M. at the McLeod County Environmental Services Facility in the Large Conference Room, located at 1065 5th Ave SE, Hutchinson, Minnesota 55350.
THE PURPOSE OF THE SAID MEETING is to consider the following applications located in the County of McLeod and filed with the Environmental Services Director. All requests are subject to modification during the hearing process. A complete legal description is on file in the Environmental Services Office.
1. A 2-LOT PRELIMINARY PLAT by Rodney Manderscheid to be known as “The Woodlands Third Addition,” a replat of an existing platted lot, (Lot-001, Block-001 The Woodlands Second Addition) in order to split an existing lot with a dwelling into two (2) platted lots.
THE PREMISES UPON WHICH said preliminary plat is to be located is described as follows: Lot-1, Block-1, The Woodlands Second Addition according to the plat thereof, and That Part of the SE ¼ SW ¼ of Sec-35, Twp. 117-29, (Hutchinson).
2. A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT application by Reiner Contracting, to renew an existing gravel mining operation to include recycling and stockpiling.
THE PREMISES UPON WHICH said mining conditional use is to be located is to be described as follows: 35.0 AC in the SE ¼ SW ¼ & LOTS 3 & 4, Sec-14, Twp. 117-30 (Acoma.)
3. A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT application by Joseph Foster for a home occupation of a boat storage, shrink wrap, and boat repair business in an existing accessory structure with outdoor storage.
THE PREMISES UPON WHICH said conditional use is to be located is described as follows: 3.29 AC – LOT-3, BLOCK-1 HIGHPOINT ADDITION, Sec-14, Twp. 117-27, (Winsted).
4. A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT application by Joseph Neaton for a boat storage home occupation in an existing accessory structure and in a proposed new accessory structure (100’ X 300’) in the “A” Agricultural District.
THE PREMISES UPON WHICH said conditional use is to be located is described as follows: 88.50 AC E ½ NW ¼ EX N 1 ROD & 9.5 AC NE ¼ SW ¼ & OF LOT 1 EX 1.27 AC TH #7 of Sec-35, Twp. 117-28, (Hale).
5. A Conditional Use Permit application by Joshua Kosek for the renewal of an existing gravel pit to include mining, screening and stockpiling.
THE PREMISES UPON WHICH said conditional use is to be located is described as follows:
120.86 AC E ½ E ½ NW ¼ & W ½ NE ¼ EX 1.5 AC & S 1.38 AC OF W NW ¼ (TH #15-.02 AC) in Sec-6, Twp. 116-28 (Sumter.)
THESE HEARINGS will be held by the McLeod County Planning Advisory Commission at which time you may appear if you desire, either in person or by agent or attorney, in opposition to or in support of the proposed application. Thereafter, the McLeod County Planning Commission shall forward its recommendations to the County Board of Commissioners. If you desire to provide comments or objections to the Planning Commission’s recommendations, you may take your request to the County Board which has the final authority to act on the findings of the Planning Commission.
