NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

YOU ARE HEREBY notified that the regular meeting of the McLeod County Planning Advisory Commission has been scheduled on Wednesday the 22nd day of July 2020 at 9:30 A.M. at the McLeod County Environmental Services Facility in the Large Conference Room, located at 1065 5th Ave SE, Hutchinson, Minnesota 55350.
THE PURPOSE OF THE SAID MEETING is to consider the following applications located in the County of McLeod and filed with the Environmental Services Director. All requests are subject to modification during the hearing process. A complete legal description is on file in the Environmental Services Office.
1. A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT request by John DeMeyer to 1) Construct a pole shed to be greater than 2,000 sq. ft. on a parcel located in the “R-1” Residential District and, 2) To construct a 12’ lean to onto an existing 28’ X 36’ accessory structure.
THE PREMISES UPON WHICH said conditional use is to be located is to be described as follows: SWAN LAKE ESTATES Lot-006 Block-001, Section 29 Township 117-28 (Hale).
2. A REZONING REQUEST by Steven Krueger, Glencoe MN, to rezone Wacker Enterprises Inc. (previously known as Lake Marion Ballroom) from “A” Agricultural to “B-1” Highway Business.
THE PREMISES UPON WHICH said conditional use is to be located is described as T & D Properties, Block-001 Lot-001 EX N 290' of Section 12 in Township 115-30 (Collins).
THESE HEARINGS will be held by the McLeod County Planning Advisory Commission at which time you may appear if you desire, either in person or by agent or attorney, in opposition to or in support of the proposed application. Thereafter, the McLeod County Planning Commission shall forward its recommendations to the County Board of Commissioners. If you desire to provide comments or objections to the Planning Commission’s recommendations, you may take your request to the County Board which has the final authority to act on the findings of the Planning Commission.
