NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

YOU ARE HEREBY notified that the regular meeting of the McLeod County Planning Commission has been scheduled on Wednesday the 28th day of October 2020 at 9:30 A.M. at the McLeod County Environmental Services Facility, Large Conference Room, located at 1065 5th Ave SE, Hutchinson, Minnesota 55350.
THE PURPOSE OF THE SAID MEETING is to consider the following applications located in the County of McLeod and filed with the Environmental Services Director. All requests are subject to modification during the hearing process. A complete legal description is on file in the Environmental Services Office.
1. A REZONING APPLICATION by Randy Redman of ReMax Results requests to rezone a 10.29 AC parcel of land from “A” Agriculture to “B-1” Highway Business.
THE PREMISES UPON WHICH said conditional use is to be located is to be described as follows: 10.29 AC located in That Part of the NW ¼ NW ¼, Sec-35, Twp. 117-27 (Winsted).
2. A 1-LOT PRELIMINARY PLAT request by Randy Johnson to be known as “JOHNSON ADDITION” on property owned by Kenneth Dooner REV TR.
THE PREMISES UPON WHICH said Preliminary Plat is to be located is to be described as follows: 1.52 acres in the SW ¼ SW ¼ of Sec-13 in Twp. 116-30 (Lynn).
3. A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT by Kyle Peik to construct a pole shed addition on to an existing accessory building to be greater than 2,400 sq. ft. on a platted lot for the purpose of personal storage in the Agricultural District.
THE PREMISES UPON WHICH said conditional use is to be located is to be described as follows: 10.54 AC of Lot-1, Blk-1, Deer Haven Acres in Sec-2, Twp. 115-30 (Collins).
4. A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT by Steve Krueger to operate a ballroom/events hall on a Highway Business “B-1” zoned parcel along State Hwy 15.
THE PREMISES UPON WHICH said conditional use is to be located is to be described as follows: Lot 1 Block 1 T & D Properties NE ¼ SE ¼, Sec-12, Twp. 115-30 (Collins).
5. A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT by Bruce & Patricia Bunting for a second dwelling for family care.
THE PREMISES UPON WHICH said conditional use is to be located is to be described as follows: 7.01 AC OF NE ¼ NE ¼, Sec-24, Twp. 115-29 (Sumter).
THESE HEARINGS will be held by the McLeod County Planning Advisory Commission at which time you may appear if you desire, either in person or by agent or attorney, in opposition to or in support of the proposed applications. Thereafter, the McLeod County Planning Commission shall forward its recommendations to the County Board of Commissioners.
