STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF MCLEOD NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that a regular meeting of the McLeod County Board of Adjustment will be held on Thursday, the 22nd day of June 2023 at 9:30 a.m. at McLeod County Environmental Services, Large Conference Room located at 1065 5th Ave. SE, Hutchinson, MN 55350.
THE PURPOSE OF SAID MEETING is to consider the following applications located in the County of McLeod and filed with the County Environmental Services Director. All requests are subject to modification during the hearing process.
1. A VARIANCE application by Daniel & Kimberly Mraz to reduce the required front yard setback of 130’ from the centerline of Major Avenue (CR 4) to 60’ to construct a livable dwelling addition and an attached garage.
THE PREMISES UPON WHICH said Variance is proposed in the County of McLeod and State of Minnesota and is described as follows: 3.96 AC - NW ¼ NW ¼, Sec-36, Twp-16, Range-029 (Hassan Valley).
2. A VARIANCE application by Brian & Jennifer Mallak to reduce the required front yard setback of 130’ from the centerline of 180th Street (CR 80) to 98’ to construct a detached garage.
THE PREMISES UPON WHICH said Variance is proposed in the County of McLeod and State of Minnesota and is described as follows: 2 AC SE ¼ SW ¼, Sec-3, Twp-116, Range-028 (Rich Valley).
3. A VARIANCE application by Bradley & Shannon Rasmussen to reduce the required front yard setback of 130’ from Lake Hook Rd (CR 61) to 83’ to construct a detached shed.
THE PREMISES UPON WHICH said Variance is proposed in the County of McLeod and State of Minnesota and is described as follows: 2.10 AC REARRG OF K AND J SUBDIVISION Lot-002 Block-001, Sec-17, Twp-117, Range-029 (Hutchinson).
4. A VARIANCE application by Randy Redman, RE/MAX Results on behalf of property owner Fred Pawelk to reduce the required Feedlot setback of 2640’ to 2310’ from a “I-1” (Light Industrial) zoned parcel to a registered feedlot.
THE PREMISES UPON WHICH said Variance is proposed in the County of McLeod and State of Minnesota and is described as follows: That part of the N ½ N ½ NW ¼, Sec-35, Twp-117, Range 027 (Winsted).
THESE HEARINGS will be held by the McLeod County Board of Adjustment at which time you may appear in support of or in opposition to the proposed application.
