New pastor at St. John’s establishing his call

Pastor Adam Pilarski is looking forward to serving the congregation at St. John’s Lutheran Church southeast of Glencoe. Pilarski, 31, was installed as the church’s new pastor last month.

Adam Pilarski is a long way from the four congregations in northwest South Dakota he led the past few years. The Lutheran pastor at St. John’s Lutheran Church southeast of Glencoe is using the caring style he utilized there to make himself and his new congregation comfortable here.
Pilarski is the new pastor at St. John’s. He and the congregation celebrated his installation last month.
“I’m excited to come here, to serve God here and bring people the gospel,” Pastor Pilarski said.
