Maddy Brown and her Benson teammate carded a 49 over nine holes, while the GSL pairings of Kenady Rosckes/Grace Kosek and Aubrey Giesen/Ellie Schmidt posted respective scores of 50 and 53.

The Panthers then dove into Wright County Conference West competition on Tuesday, April 11, with a nine-hole meet hosted by Dassel-Cokato at Albion Ridges Golf Course.

GSL finished seventh with a team score of 234. The Panthers were led by Kosek’s 55, with Giesen carding a 57. Brown and Rosckes each put up a 61, while Schmidt posted a 68.

This is a busy week for GSL, with the Panthers scheduled to play on the road on both Tuesday and Wednesday before hosting a five-team invitational on Thursday at Glencoe Country Club.

The GSL boys’ golf team will also be competing in the invite on Thursday, also hosting five teams. The Panther boys have competed in two meets so far this spring. Results for those competitions were not available as the Chronicle went to press.
