Panthers’ volleyball completes clean sweep of HLWW Lakers
The Panthers’ volleyball team won a clean sweep against Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted when the two teams faced off last Tuesday, Oct. 27, and Thursday, Oct. 29.
Glencoe-Silver Lake won all three sets Tuesday night – 25-23, 25-15 and 25-14 at HLWW. The Panthers enjoyed the same success when the team played home Thursday with scores of 25-14, 25-11 and 25-22.
The team had more reason to celebrate when Maren Roepke earned her 1,000th dig in her volleyball career last Tuesday, GSL Coach Lori Schwirtz said.

GSL played home against New London-Spicer this Monday, Nov. 2. The two teams will play again at New London-Spicer High School this Thursday, Nov. 5, at 7 p.m.
GSL’s next game will be home against Litchfield next Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 7 p.m.
