Planning commission sends Harpel’s Addition Plan to City Council
With no public comment and only questions about the state of streets that will serve it, the Glencoe Planning Commission needed little time Thursday when considering whether or not a development proposal that will bring a Kwik Trip to town should get the commission’s backing.
A few minutes after closing an abbreviated public hearing, the commission unanimously recommended approval of Harpel’s 13th Addition, a development intended to serve a Kwik Trip convenience store on land east of Harpel Bros. Chevrolet-Buick at the northeast corner of the intersection of Morningside Drive and Highway 212.
