NOTICE
Marsh Water Project
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT: Sealed proposals for the Marsh Water Project, Buffalo Creek Watershed District, City of Glencoe and Glencoe Township, McLeod County, Minnesota, will be received by Houston Engineering, 6901 East Fish Lake Road, Suite 140, Maple Grove, MN 55369-5455 until 2 p.m. Thursday, February 24, 2017, after which they will be opened, read aloud, and tabulated.
Bid recommendation will be provided to the Board of Managers on February 28, 2017 for their selection and award of contract.
The major items of work consist of the following approximate quantities: Common Excavation (P), 33,874 cubic yards; Install Stormwater Outlet Control Structure; Repair and Replacement of Miscellaneous storm sewer and culverts; and Establishment of native vegetation.
No work shall commence sooner than May 1, 2017. All work shall be completed by May 1, 2018.
Bids must be submitted on the bid forms furnished with the specifications. Copies of the plans and specifications may be viewed at the office of Houston Engineering, Inc., 6901 East Fish Lake Road, Suite 140, Maple Grove, Minnesota 55369-5455, phone: 763-493-4522.
Potential bidders may obtain the paper documents for a nonrefundable price of seventy-five dollars ($75.00) per set. Complete digital project documents are available from Quest Construction Data Network (CDN) at www.questcdn.com, project #4800753, for a fee of $20.
A non mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Glencoe City Center, 1107 11th St. E., Glencoe, MN at 1:00 p.m.
Bid bonds are not required. The Buffalo Creek Watershed District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive informalities therein.
