RS Fiber updates Brownton on fiber optic
RS Fiber has installed a wireless antenna on the United Farmers Cooperative (UFC) grain facility near Brownton, and wireless Internet is now available in the area.
Toby Brummer of RS Fiber gave the Brownton City Council an update on RS Fiber’s fiber-to-the-home project at its April 5 meeting.
Brummer said that those who would like to sign up for wireless Internet may do so at www.rsfiber.coop, or by calling 1-800-628-1754.
Brummer said the antenna will provide temporary high-speed Internet until RS Fiber finishes constructing its fiber optic network.
“We’ll be installing fiber in Brownton this year and should be operational by next year,” said Brummer.
