Saints march past Panthers in girls’ basketball season debut
The Panthers’ girls basketball team dropped its first game against St. Peter Tuesday, Dec. 3, but head coach Jeff Monahan wasn’t losing any sleep over the loss.
Monahan didn’t show much displeasure with an 0-1 record, firstly, because it was the Panthers’ first game of the season. First-game nerves, kinks and excitement can get in the way of a game running smoothly. It’s difficult to replicate a game atmosphere in practice, Monahan said.
