Alex Barton took advantage of an opportunity to move her business from Silver Lake to downtown Glencoe. The leap has worked out well so far.
Earlier this spring, Barton, a Glencoe resident, moved her business from downtown Silver Lake to 1005 Hennepin Ave. N. She took advantage of space that had been available for many months to open Sawdust & Lace Designs all over again.
Last fall, Barton opened Sawdust & Lace in Silver Lake. She enjoyed success in the community but preferred being closer to home, especially with young children. When the opportunity to open a shop here came about, she jumped at it.
