Sex trafficking topic of Hutchinson event

Greater Minnesota Republican Women, the Minnesota Department of Health, Heartland Girls Ranch, Hearts for Freedom, and Safe Avenues are sponsoring a community event on sex trafficking of  youth in western and  central Minnesota on Tuesday, Jan. 12, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Community Room at the Harmony River Living Center, 1555 Sherwood St. SE in Hutchinson.
Attendees will hear about sex trafficking and sexual exploitation in rural Minnesota, recruitment techniques of traffickers, warning signs, current state laws, and intervention and prevention efforts.
All are welcome to attend and light refreshments will be served.
