Strong winds flip semi south of Hutch

Strong winds caused a semi to flip onto its side on Highway 15 south of Hutchinson this morning.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Albert Holker, 30, of Hutchinson, was southbound on Highway 15 in a 2001 Freightliner when a very strong crosswind blew the semi onto its side into the east ditch of the highway. The accident was reported at 7:20 a.m.

Holker was taken to the Hutchinson hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. He was wearing a seat belt. The semi sustained moderate damage and was towed to Jerry's Transmission.
