SUMMONS AND NOTICE TO: Lorenzo Dee Brown, Jr.
An Amended Child in Need of Protection or Services Petition was filed on March 7, 2023, with Court Administration located at the McLeod County District Court, 830 11th ST. E. Glencoe, Minnesota 55336, alleging the children of the above-named parents to be in need of protection or services. Notice is hereby given that the matter of said Amended Child in Need of Protection or Services Petition will be called for a Pre-Trial Hearing on July 18, 2023 at 2:30 p.m. before the McLeod County District Court located at 830 11th ST. E. Glencoe, Minnesota 55336.
YOU ARE HEREBY SUMMONED AND REQUIRED TO APPEAR BEFORE THE COURT AT THE SCHEDULED TIME AND DATE. You have the right to be represented by counsel. If you fail to appear at the hearing, the Court may still conduct the hearing in your absence and the hearing may result in the Court granting the relief requested in the Petition which may include:
(1) the child(ren) being removed from home pursuant to a child in need of protection or services petition;
(2) the parent's parental rights being permanently severed pursuant to a termination of parental rights petition;
(3) permanent transfer of the child(ren)'s legal and physical custody to a relative; and
(4) a finding that the statutory grounds set forth in the petition have been proved.
You may obtain a copy of the Petition and a statement of your rights and responsibilities from the McLeod County Court Administrator’s Office. It is your responsibility to immediately notify the Court Administrator if your address changes.
